If you ever thought to yourself, “Hey! What would it be like if they made Luke Evans the lead in Two Weeks Notice instead of Hugh Grant? Wouldn’t that be sexy?” this book is for you. It gave me so many similar feelings to that movie - minus the two weeks notice. But everything else? The chemistry? The fact that Trey and Kate know one another better than anyone else? The tension? It’s all there and it works.

It’s a sexy book, even though there isn’t all that much sex. Frankly, I would have to call it a super slow burner. The first half is completely dominated by stolen glances, some not-quite-professional overtures, and the subsequent shower jackoff. When they do finally go for it though? It definitely BURNS. I wish Kate wasn’t *quite* so judgmental (you’ll see what I mean) about bedroom stuff because it made me want to give her a lecture. But she comes around.

Trey Marks is a super rich hottie that fits that whole Alpha Billionaire archetype, but he’s not an asshole. He’s funny and capable of being both embarrassed and ashamed, which was refreshing since so many of his ilk are incapable of such emotions. If you like slow burning contemporary romance that doesn’t really take you through any major plot twists or turns but just keeps rolling steadily towards a HEA, you’ll probably really enjoy this one. It was a lot of fun.

You’ll be so desperate that by the time Trey does finally get truly wicked, you’ll be cheering. Torre definitely makes you wait for it but makes up for lost time FOR SURE. Oral sex, p&v penetration, some light dominance, hand play, and many, many orgasms make for a very sexy encounter.
